Seabourn Cruise Line is an ultra luxury cruise line headquartered in Miami, Florida. The line operates all around the world, from short seven day Caribbean cruises to exotic 100+ day cruises around the world. It is owned by Carnival Corporation, part of the “World’s Leading Cruise Lines” marketing group, which also own other famous Cruise Lines.

Jobs at Seabourn Cruise Line

At Seabourn Cruise Line yachts, every new entry level worker undego through a ship’s safety training after arrival. Further formal training is also provided on board all cruise ships for service related roles.

“The most important attributes for a successful career in the cruise industry are a recognized professional diploma or equivalent and relevant hotel service experience (preferably 4* or 5* years) as well as fluent written and spoken English”.

Seabourn has ordered three 32,000-ton, 450-passenger vessels to be delivered in 2009, 2010 and 2011, costing $250 million each. The ships will be designed by Bjron Storbraaten (of Silversea alum) and built at Genoa’s T. Mariotti S.p.A. shipyard. The trio will be “green ships”, meaning they will be using wastewater treatment technology. The first, Seabourn Odyssey, debuted in June 2009.
